BAN305 is a robotized automatic ball-banding machine designed to wrap and close into a ring a wide range of paper band-labels around yarn balls of different sizes using hot-melt glue.

 

The hot-melt gluing system does not require daily cleaning of the glue application device.
It is sufficient to switch on the machine, and within a few minutes the hot-melt system reaches operating temperature.

 

LC305 Automatic Band-Label Feeder is also suitable for paper with a high degree of porosity.

 

WORKING CYCLE:

 

The band-labels positioned in a loader are automatically picked one by one and placed on a small conveyor. Here, the labels are picked up by a group of grippers and automatically transported towards the ball-banding machine, which wraps them into a ring around yarn balls taken from a transport chain.

 

The band-labels are sealed by the hot-melt unit, which automatically applies glue to the label, while the thermal transfer printer prints the colour, batch/lot number, and barcode.

 

Before entering the ball-banding machine, the balls pass through a compaction unit that compresses them.

 

After banding, the yarn balls are transported via two conveyor belts to the outlet: the conveyors, working in synchrony, also ensure proper adhesion of the band around the balls.

 

The banded balls are evenly discharged at the conveyor outlet, ready for packaging.

It is suitable for processing laminated and coated papers (glossy, matte or satin), hand-made papers, and the latest eco-friendly recycled papers, with a basis weight ranging from 90 to 150 g/m².
